Crucibles are made according to drawings.
The shape and dimensions are agreed with customers.
The surface roughness of the machined crucibles is Rz 6.3 max.
Size examples of sintered tungsten crucibles, diameter Ø x height, mm, are as below:
According to the agreed drawings, forged tungsten small-sized crucibles are made, for example, with a diameter of 40-50 mm.
The density of crucibles:
Operation and storage memo:
--Before use, the customer shall anneal (degas) the crucible in vacuum without loading the charge.
--The furnace during the annealing process shall maintain vacuum of P <10-4 mm.
Heating and cooling mode:
1. temperature (T) rise to 1000 ºC for 3 hours min;
2. hold at T=1000 ºC for 1 hour min;
3. rise to T=1400-1500 оС for 1 hour min;
4. hold at T=1400-1500 оС for 1 hour min;
5. rise to T=2000-2200 оС for 1 hour min;
6. hold at T=2000-2200 оС for 1 hour min;
7. cooling of the crucible in the furnace.
When preparing the crucible for dry-run operation, the customer must not abruptly raise or lower the temperature, as well as reduce the recommended hold time.
When preparing for operation and during the operation time crucibles must not be subjected to shocks.
The manufacturer packs crucibles in plywood containers (boxes) with shock-absorbing material inside.
During transportation and storage, crucibles should not be subjected to sudden shocks or impacts.
They should be stored in the manufacturer's packaging in closed storage facilities under conditions specified in Group 1 (L) of GOST 15150.

As agreed with the customer, tungsten crucibles are made with additions of molybdenum up to 0.9%, as well as with other requirements for the chemical composition of the material.
