Nickel Anodes, Sheets, Plates

Nickel Anodes, Sheets, Plates

01
Description
Nickel is characterized with high corrosion resistance - it is resistant in air, in water, in alkalis, in some acids. Chemical resistance is due to its disposition to passivation - the formation of a dense oxide film on its surface, which has a protective effect. The resistance of metallic nickel to corrosion and to atmospheric effects, hardness and shine make it a very valuable material for coating other metals.

Nickel is part of stainless steels and is the basis of most heat-resistant alloys used in the aerospace industry, power plants and electrical engineering. Products made of nickel and nickel alloys are manufactured by powder metallurgy methods.

The ensured purity of products made of unalloyed material is 99.90% Ni min with a minimum content of impurity elements.

Nickel Anodes

JSC "POLEMA" manufactures hot-rolled nickel anodes intended for nickel plating. Nickel anodes are produced in the form of sheets of rectangular cross-section.

Anode names and chemical composition are: NPA1, NPA2, NPAN according to GOST 492-2006 "Nickel, nickel and copper-nickel alloys, processed by pressure. Names".

Anodes are supplied according to GOST 2132-90 "Nickel Anodes. Specification".

Production method: hot-rolled (H); cross-section shape: rectangular (R); manufacturing accuracy: normal (N); length: measured (M), non-measured (NM), or multiple of a measured length (ML).

Anode sizes: thickness from 4 to 12 mm, width from 100 to 600 mm, length from 400 to 1500 mm - standard or according to the Customer's specification.

Advantages of nickel anodes produced by JSC POLEMA are high purity of the metal (Ni 99.90% min), low content of harmful impurities, uniform dissolution of anodes in the electrolyte, and no tendency to passivation during the nickel plating process.

Nickel Sheets, Plates

JSC POLEMA manufactures hot-rolled and cold-rolled nickel sheets and strips, hot-rolled nickel plates for various fields of industry (mechanical engineering, instrumentengineering, electrical engineering, for vacuum deposition of nickel coatings, etc.).

The purity of the material is 99.90% Ni ,min with a minimum content of harmful impurities.

Nickel sheets, strips, and plates under NP1 and NP2 names are supplied according to GOST 6235-91 "Nickel Sheets and Strips", and under N1-MP name - supplied according to the agreed technical specification.

Dimensions: standard (up to 1500 mm in length) or according to the customer's specification.
