Description
Nickel is characterized with high corrosion resistance - it is resistant in air, in water, in alkalis, in some acids. Chemical resistance is due to its disposition to passivation - the formation of a dense oxide film on its surface, which has a protective effect. The resistance of metallic nickel to corrosion and to atmospheric effects, hardness and shine make it a very valuable material for coating other metals.

Nickel is included into composition of stainless steels and is the basis of most heat-resistant alloys used in the aerospace industry, power plants and electrical engineering. Products made of nickel and nickel alloys are manufactured by powder metallurgy methods.

The ensured purity of products made of unalloyed material is Ni 99.90% min with a minimum content of impurity elements.

JSC POLEMA manufactures products from the precision alloy of Ni67Mo28-PM (NiMo-28).


--hot-rolled sheets, meant for production of trays and other parts, operating in aggressive environments and at elevated temperatures;

--trays for reduction furnaces, etc.



Ni67Mo28-PM sheets


Hot-rolled Ni67Mo28-PM sheets are produced with a thickness of 2.0 to 6.0 mm, a width of 200 to 400 mm, and a length of 300 to 900 mm. The exact dimensions and allowable deviations are specified in the order.

Mechanical properties controlled for sheets with a thickness of 2.0 to 4.0 mm include tensile strength of 80 kg/mm2 min and elongation of 20% min.

Sheets are supplied without surface etching.

The design and dimensions of Ni67Mo28-PM (NiMo-28) trays are specified in the customer's agreed drawings.
